Darrin J. Smith is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer and enterprise finance executive with 26 years of leadership experience in CFO and COO roles across manufacturing, industrial, distribution, and multi-entity organizations. He founded Evergreen Advisors to bring Fortune-caliber financial leadership directly to growing businesses — translating complex financial disciplines into practical, results-driven outcomes.
Darrin's career includes serving as CFO and board member for a national equipment manufacturing company, a $1 billion asset enterprise where he helped deliver 48% compound annual growth over seven years. He has scaled company revenue by 550%, returned companies to profitability, managed financial activity across 11 tax entities in four states, and built global distribution operations that grew revenues from $6 million to $36 million.
A decorated U.S. Army Captain and veteran, Darrin brings the discipline, accountability, and operational rigor of military leadership to every client engagement. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business and a BA in Economics from Elon University.
